Hi. Even though this blog is in my mum’s name, it’s mine really. All the art and words are mine.
I am nine years old and I live in Melbourne with my mum, my dad, my brother, my dog Dexter and five chickens.
Some of my favourite things to do are: reading books, drawing pictures, playing with Dexter and taking him for walks, playing with LEGO (especially Star Wars LEGO), dreaming about making a model railway one day, going to the beach, admiring forests and playing with my friends. I also like old things.
My favourite colours are yellow, bright purple, turquoise and brown.
My favourite chicken is Emily who is a Pekin Bantam. She is yellow.
My favourite books are the ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ series by Cressida Cowell.
My favourite films are the Studio Gibli films, especially ‘My Neighbour Totoro’.
My favourite kinds of dogs are Staffies, Jack Russell Terriers, Greyhounds and Whippets.

Arty was born in 2003. So he was nine years old when he began the blog. Now he is eleven. Apologies for any advertisements that appear at the bottom of the blog. They come with the free WordPress blog and we don’t get to choose what goes there.

I was so excited tonight to read your comic strips about Bert and Dim Wit IJust loved them and I think that dog like Mannie got his just deserts for being so nasty. I think he must have a very sore head. I will be waiting to see some more soon. I sent the website over to Audrey who is about Hugo’s age and lives in Switzerland, as I thought she might like your cartoons too. Perhaps she will write a comment.
